Meet Dr. Richard Kaye
I’ve always enjoyed working with and helping people. That’s why I entered the dental field in 1987 and the orthodontic field in 1995. Seeing my patients’ reaction when they first look in the mirror after treatment gives me the greatest satisfaction. I’m blessed with a profession that allows me to provide a wonderfully fulfilling service to those in our community, which in turn, earns me the respect and kindness of so many families. I am very passionate about my treatment results and the effect it has on the confidence and self-esteem of my patients.
Education and Continuing Education
I was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey, just 15 minutes from the Jersey Shore. I earned my BS degree in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island. My journey down the path of dentistry and orthodontia began when I enrolled at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where I attended the School of Dentistry and obtained my DDS degree. I then undertook a one-year residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. After finishing my residency in 1988, I worked in general dentistry for seven years, before returning to Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where I received my certificate in Orthodontics and an MSD degree.
There is always something new to learn in this field, so continuing education is a must. I routinely take classes in some of the cutting-edge techniques in orthodontics, like Invisalign®. Once I’ve learned the most up-to-date methods that are proven effective, I instruct my staff so we can bring these applications immediately into our treatment approach.

In the Community
I donate my time as an orthodontist whenever possible and am very active in our community supporting nonprofits like Smile Train, Our Lady of Good Counsel Fashion Show, Moorestown Crew Club, Moorestown Charitable Works, and Moorestown Soccer Club. We have even partnered with two other practices in Moorestown to form the Moorestown Dental Alliance, a group of local dentists who supply free services on the first Friday in February.
Outside the Office
I’m married to my wonderful wife and partner Dr. Mary Beth Morrone and we have three beautiful children, Allison, David, and Brian. Our Yorkshire Terrier Noah acts brave, but is afraid of his own shadow! Some of my hobbies include: watching Phillies and Eagles games when I can, reading a good book, and collecting coins. I very much enjoy quality time with my family, especially when we’re able to spend time together away from home.
Now you know a bit about me, I hope I get the chance to get to know more about you! Please drop by our office or give one of our outstanding team members a call if you’re interested in improving your smile. I very much look forward to meeting you.
